I simply pointed out to you that I am far from a noob. Post counts don't make a rider. You are a cat whatever racer, good for you. You have 29,000 post,
good for you.Because somebody has less than 100-250 post, does that make them less of a bike rider? NO! it makes him/her someone who doesn't post alot.

You called me a geek for posting a lot. I didn't call anyone a noob, just speaking generically. Keep in mind I've posted over 5 years, and never said anything about the quality of the rider as a relation to post count.
I also haven't distinguish between forum noobs and cycling noobs. Flame me all you want, but you just are wasting your breath, I am only explaining what the mod decision was and the reasoning behind it.
For the record, I was in favor of a beginners sub-forum on a trial basis but had the same concerns that have been voiced by others here.
Edit: you may want to look more carefully at my post count, i only have just shy of 26000, not the 29000 you keep on claiming. And so what?

This is not my area, but I am gonna shut this thread down for a while, at least until one of the mods that knows more about this forum shows up. Thanks, have happy thoughts for a while.

Out fishing with Annie on his lap, a cigar in one hand and a ginger ale in the other, watching the sunset.

And I'll chime in now. I hadn't seen this thread. We had considered a beginners road forum several times and each time, decided it would serve to fracture the forums too much and not serve the purpose intended. I'll leave this thread closed.
