Just a suggestion, take it for what it's worth but I STRONGLY suggest putting a second Co2 cannister in the bag.

OK, will do!

along with surgical gloves in it. I always carry my phone in my jersey pocket though.

I thought I was the only one with surgical gloves.... and yes, the cell goes in the jersey pocket.

Sup. I recognize you from the EB crits. Alejandro here. I ride the black CAAD10 with spinergys and Wolfpack Hustle accoutrements and have a massive beard. I'm right behind you in the above photo.

Hi, new here, thought I'd post a few shots of my CAAD 10-1. Wheels are from China, it's almost done... just needs a few more tweaks... So far it's at 16.10 pounds/7.55kg as you see it here (inc Garmin).

Do you have any photos of the entire bike, non-Instagrammed? :p

Also, what are some crankset recommendations you guys might have? I'm currently running the stock FSA crank that came on the 2011 CAAD10 5s and am thinking about upgrading them a few weeks from now because supposedly that's the cool thing to do.

Fsa SLK, rotor, dura ace, ultegra, hollowgram, Easton....nearly anything will be better.

A good upgrade could be the cannondale Si hollowgram cranks (not the SL). Check Craigslist and ebay

I did the FSA slk on one of my Caad10's (the other crank is stock) and don't see or notice any difference between the two bikes.

Haha, great observation; that's what I was thinking about... Exactly how much of a difference does such an upgrade make (besides the impact on the wallet). Also, why do you have two CAAD10s?

@bianchi, thanks for the quick response, though. I've noted down those brands and will look at them after the racing season.

K, here's a non instagrammed shot... And another attached... Still trying to figure this out from my iPad... :)

bianchi10 02-10-13 09:20 AM

Mxw....you need black chain rings right away ;)

BoomMcNasty 02-10-13 10:04 AM

I took my 1st real ride today with my CAAD and it was great. I went for a 20 mile ride out in the country and had a blast. I'm happy with the fit and may go back to the shop early to get my stem cut. So far I have no complaints about the bike, I just need to soup up the engine.

About a 1/2 a mile from home I had a pitbull give chase so I had a nice sprint there at the end. Good Stuff!

Short answer is that I got a decent deal on the second one but the truth is that I liked the first one so much and had a little bonus money available.

I thought you were refering to the mis-matched water bottles and cages.

Yeah, I'm working on that... And a decent taping job on the bars too!

I might be selling my Praxis Works classic chainrings. They are 53/39 if you are interested and you don't have a compact. I got a new bike and can't use my hollowgrams anymore. They would look sick on you bike and shifting performance is incredible.

FPSDavid 02-10-13 06:11 PM

Hate to be posting so many pictures, but I made some bar/brifter adjustments today. How'd I do on getting everything level?

There's plenty of room

The bottom of the bag is expandable so if you need to stuff it, it opens up.

Thanks for posting the pics Boom!
