I ordered 2014 CAAD10 3 and should have it in next few days, i can make some photo or if you any questions to help your decision.
One thing i did ask cannondale is the internal rear brake cable, there answer was, It was not modified for Di2, it was for better brake performance and smoother lines. There focus is still a lightweight performance alternative to Carbon. The Caad10 105 and Evo 105 are great bikes, for me it just came down to the colour i liked and hopefully not having to upgrade for a while

You're help is much appreciated. I don't want to squeeze myself onto a smaller frame, but if it provides more comfort - in particular with reach - why not? Does Ritchey still offer a Carbon Classic bar? I thought they only had an aluminum version now. With Specialized discontinuing the S-Works Classic, I can't think of any CF classic bend bars... Well, besides 3T.

It is really slick looking. That's the first stock blacked-out SL-K Light crank arm I've ever seen as well. If you could order a frame from any level of CAAD, I'd be talking to my LBS right now. I'd love to have that frame or the 2012 black/white version. Save my current white/red for a rain bike and ride a classy black ride otherwise.

So I picked up my '13 CAAD10 4 Rival yesterday and took it for a ride this morning. I decided to snap a quick shot along the trail. I was so excited to take it out I forgot to remove the dork-disc *facepalm* ... I know I will receive no mercy from the 41, but I'm still thrilled to be riding my first road bike, first Cannondale, and first time clipless :D

I got the bike from Just the Right Gear in Salem, VA. They sold the bike for $1300, and they have other great deals on Cannondales. So if anyone is interested in picking up a bike, and you're in the area, I definitely recommend giving them a call.

It's hard for me to tell from that photo. What components are on it? Nine hundred dollars does seem very high.

He didn't say much... except it has shimano 105.. So I'm assuming it's that derailer thing on the bottom? I'm also very new to road riding, so I dont' know much myself.. But only know from one of my friends whom told me a shimano 105 is a must for a beginner rider..

$900 does seem high especially for older model. I went to sportsbasement, and they are all sold out of CAAD 8. Which I wanted a CAAD 8 because it's suppose to be more comfortable for longer riding.. which I tend to do (about 3 hours every saturday morning).. But anyway, I can get a 10% discount at sportsbasement..but at the same time it'll have to be either a FELT z85 ($1200) or a CAAD 10 105 (roughtly around $1350 or so..)..

So I mean, if I can get this as a beginner bike... (assuming there's not much problems with it..) I can save a few hundred... Ahhhhh. I just can't decide... I don't want to over pay or lose money in case I need to sell back in the near future.

I will actually be going over to look at it right... now.. so hopefully if anyone can give me any tips, etc.. in the next half hour... that would be really helpful.. Thanks again,

The paint is better than last year. Spec is just as good. I'm waiting for a CAAD10 Track.

I still think 2012 was the best year for caads.

Thanks bro.. I just found out about the blue book site.. had no idea they had one for bikes... anyway.. Picked it up for 820.. Paid $60 over what the site "believes" it's worth... not too bad i guess.. I'll put it to good use for at least a year.

you got yourself a nice bike and the 105 group will be good for much more than one year. don't do a one step upgrade. what I mean by that is don't ride this bike for one year then go get a CAAD10-5, ride this until you can get a significant upgrade. have fun and be safe.

Yea. Will surely keep that in mind.. Will probably ride and slowly upgrade until I can call myself an "intermediate" rider.. ahhah.. Still have a lot to learn right now.. so I need a cat eye cpu,, shoes, jerseys, pedal clips... ahhhh didn't even think about all that cost to it.. o well.. keeps me busy.

Ya ... all the other kit does add up ... but the #1 rule is always look good while doin it ;)

It still says "CAAD10" on the frame but you don't see it from the side. You can see it from the saddle though when looking down so every time you have to stop at traffic lights you can make sure that you are still riding this most awesome frame ;)
Got my black Ultegra on the weekend and it's a beauty. Frame looks even more awesome in reality and both the shop and myself got lots of compliments on it even from white-bike-fans.

CAD with Boyd Vitesse wheels.
Those wheels makes the bike feel like a brand new bike, superlight and it just feels like the bike wants to be riden fast. Super excited!

Pull those decals off. It will look much better. I have those same wheels on my CAAD10 and the difference is night and day. Doesn't affect the warranty either.

Since I only used classic (i.e. quite old) road bikes before I don't have any real comparison for the ultegra group but so far there's nothing to complain about.

That is a ridiculously great price. Im ashamed of what I paid now.

Don't be. As long as you're riding it you'll get your money's worth. Enjoy it.
