Hi everybody
Just brought a used 2013 Caad10 105 last week and I'm loving it so far. Its my first serious road bike. Anyways got a question for all the caad owners. i was just cleaning my bike this evening and I noticed a scratch pattern on my right chainstay that looks kinda like oval/cylinder. It couldnt have been caused by a fall or leaning against something because its too perfect in shape. I was wondering whether Cannondale puts it on (for whatever reason that I cannot figure out) or somehow the previous owner caused it. http://i1027.photobucket.com/albums/...pspcm8u5tp.jpg http://i1027.photobucket.com/albums/...psptsaongd.jpg So I tried googling this and I came across a picture in a review of a 2014 caad10 and it kinda looks like something similar http://i1027.photobucket.com/albums/...psuvh0lus0.jpg If anyone can help me out that'll be great because this thing is driving me crazy |
It's helicopter tape to protect the paint from scratches from the chain.

Just joined the cult this week. CAAD12 SRAM Red. Weighed in at 16.1 on a 58cm frame. I'll get more pics up after a proper wash and first 40-50 mile ride

Please tell me this is the most amazing thing you've ever ridden. My local shop has one in my size on closeout (2k down from 3.2k...), and I'm trying to figure out what's going on. Cannondale's site doesn't have the Red version anymore, which makes me think that my be why.

Also you'd be hard pressed to find a new Hallowgram crankset for under $800
NEW** CANNONDALE SISL- HOLLOWGRAM CRANKSET ROAD 172.5 53/39 | eBay Just gotta wait for the deals! |
Just wanted to add my 2013 CAAD10 105 I've owned since new. Just gave it a 10,000 mile re-fresh. My wife gave me a work stand for Christmas, so new cables and housing, cleaned up, lubed the noisy BB30, new cassette, Fulcrum Quattro wheels, new pedals, bar tape, and added a front Cygolite Dart flasher. I need warm weather so I'm outside riding it instead of spending money.

What is the difference between CAAD 12 and CAAD 8. So far I see the fork is slightly thinner and it has internal cabling. Anything else?
|
Frame material is the biggest, that equals to a decent weight difference.

Just under 100 miles on this beautiful beast. Every time I take her out she surprises me with something new and wonderful. Best aluminum bike on the road hands down.

Curous
Im considering a used CAAD 10. Would like to get folks feedback on why they prefer Cannondales. I've wanted one for years. Thanks.
