I'll try to get some shots when I get home tonight if I'm not to tired. I've got a long day ahead of me.

No idea if the Velocity plugs are available because at 9pm when I opened the box I was pretty sure the LBS would be shut. I wanted to ride those babies the next morning at 5am. The rim tape I used was good stuff - took it off some SRAM s60.

The comparison can go on for a long discussion that ends up in micro analyzing each and every component not just Zipp, but Reynolds, etc.
Maybe now, Rob can get you a Zipp rim, I don't know. From there you can build according to your riding and your own attributes.
But one thing: price. Then there's no comparison.

Red coat guy == my dad, that's me in shorts with a rain jacket, Joe from PSIMET in the white hoody, and of course your favorite wheel builder and mine Rob heckling at the top of his lungs!
I already told Rob (PSIMET), if your wheels are a little late, you can blame me
That is us at a recent cross race making sure to support the cycling world by drinking a bunch of Fat Tires. Though I am happy to report, Rob didn't drink a darn thing on Sunday, though I tried. He said he had wheels to build and wasn't going to drink, and he did exactly that.

Wish I was going to be in Chicago for the Holidays this year. My fiancé is originally from Bartlett and I could easily make the very short trip to see Rob and get a quote on wheels. But, alas, I'll have to do it over the web or phone.

Originally I planned to use these wheels as a special occasion type of wheelset and my powertap wheels as my every day wheels. After I ordered these I decided to sell the powertap and get a SRAM Quarq crankset to keep track of my wattage. Since I did that I now plan on using these wheels on a pretty regular basis, therefore I decided to upgrade the hubs to the White Industries.

The White Industries freehub I had was reasonably quiet. Quieter than Campy, louder than Shimano. They seemed more 'clickey' and less 'ratchety', if that makes any sense. It depends on the rims too, of course.
