Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I sometimes use it where my inner thighs contact the sides of my saddle while pedaling. Definitely not on my face though.

I'm picturing a slathering of the stuff over his whole face, but I'm sure its just a really light coat.

Still, I can't imagine it being good for those with acne problems.

My mother used to coat my face every time I went out to play in the snow when we lived in Minnesota. Apparently, they didn't make balaclavas yet.

I put a thin layer on my face on the -15 winter rides here in Canada. Works like a charm to keep you from getting wind burnt.

But no not me.

Bikes: Three road bikes. Two track bikes.

Definitely helps when you put a layer on your lips and cheekbones. Especially in cold rain.
