Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Well, it does come up every time we talk about lightweight components and whether they're worth the cost.

"Instead of buying those lightweight carbon handlebars, why not just self-deficate before your ride? It's free, and you'll lose at least as much weight"

Oh, and as far as common love, I assume you mean Sandra Bullock.

Can't blame someone for trying.
I could take the stance that I will meet very few of you over time and owing to this could be a db to you or I could take the perspective that I have a love for the sport, a lot of experience and want to help those who are open to taking it. I choose number 2 though I am thinking I may regret it later.

You can also self-deficate during the ride to feel a boost of energy when you release the weight from your body. Although you'd need a small hole in your chamois...

I live by this one. Hence my comparably low post count.
