Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Custom Jerseys on demand

The cycling club I ride with is looking into new jerseys. In the past, we produced ten thousand dollars worth of jerseys and warehoused the inventory until they were sold. What we would like to find is a manufacturer that can produce one jersey at a time, on demand, so that a member can order their own jersey in the club's design and have it produced.

Anyone know of a manufacturer that might do this?

Thanks,

Was looking on voler and they had a section for print-on-demand jerseys. Why not send them a quick email to check?

That's interesting. Voler is who made the jerseys last time they were produced which was a few years ago. The print-on-demand option was probably not available then. However, I could find the print-on-demand option on voler's website. Where did you find it?

I poked around the collections section and found it there. On a more detailed look, it seems that it's only for their own custom artwork so they may not really offer it for teams/clubs. https://www.voler.com/category.aspx?cat=CAT-POD

Checked around more and it shows that it's minimum order 15 for full custom, no minimum for semi.

Primal sponsors my club - after the initial order for the whole team (I think the minimum is 25), we can get additional items with a minimum of just 5 per item.

Check out Sfatto they are a small relatively new company who will make any quantity of jersey or any other thing they sell. We used them for my club and the quality is superb. Best I have ever worn and at a great price.

This is great! Thanks. There are some custom jersey manufacturers that can produce orders as small as one unit.

I'm in Australia and I found these guys on the interwebby thinggamyjig and I ordered 1 custom made jersey. It was cheaper (including shipping) than buying a standard brand name, off the shelf, simple jersey (eg Pearl Izumi Classic).

In their FAQ section, it states that there is no minimum. You can always ask them if there can be a price reduction as you are from a club and it is more than likely they will get additional orders from time to time.

Our club used Pactimo. After your initial purchases, they will keep your template on file and you can order smaller orders.
Our club always buys extra jerseys and keeps them around for new members. Bibs and jerseys are bought with slush funds. We charge $45 per year for membership. This includes a few parties, race licenses, bicycle advicacy donations and the aforementioned extra apparel on hand.
Pactimo is good stuff.
