Shoe/Cleat compatibility?

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Shoe/Cleat compatibility?

Could not find a section for accessories, also did a search and could not find this question.

I have these shoes https://www.performancebike.com/bikes...551_1084202_-1

And these pedals

https://www.amazon.com/Shimano-PD-570.../dp/B003P10TAC

Will SPD-SL cleats like these

https://www.amazon.com/Shimano-SPD-SL...ef=pd_sim_sg_1

fit into my shoes? I have regular SPD cleats now, but will the SPD-SL cleats fit so I don't have to buy expensive road shoes for my new bike?

All of this is very confusing...thank you someone!

Bikes: R3 Disc, Haanjo

You'll need a 3-hole (Look compatible) road shoe with those pedals/cleats.

No, look at the underside of the shoes in that first link. They are mountain bike shoes and only have 2 holes for cleats. While the cleats require 3 holes. MAYBE with adapters you can make it work. I'd rather just get proper road bike shoes tho.
