Oddly enough, I dismount on left when riding on the road, but the right when on the trainer. Granted, there's a wall that forces me to dismount right from the trainer, but I do it without thinking at this point.

if you rolled over to the left, maybe the incessant pounding would be too loud for you to sleep. tha-thump. tha-thump. tha-thump. tha-thump. tha-thump. tha-thump. tha-thump. tha-thump. tha-thump. tha-thump. tha-thump. tha-thump.
annoying, huh?

I can only fall asleep on the left side of the bed, on my left side, with the pillow vertical, and my left hand underneath the pillow. No joke, once I'm in this position, I'm passed out in like 5 minutes.

Oh and I need my pillows too. I'll walk into a fancy hotel holding my ratty pillows and just throw theirs on the floor when I get into the room. I have to be on the right side of the bed with my right arm extended under both pillows and my left arm bent with my hand between them and my torso on my side but twisted at the waste so my toes are down. Really contorted I know, and probably part of the reason for my back troubles, but that's the only way I can do it.
