Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Yikes, I am still trying to recover from the 66g deficit the bars caused. The Extralite 130mm weighs in at 95g. I think my 3T was in the high 120's so that would be a good gain.
Or if you want the lines to match, CC says 121.

It looks dumb if you actually look at it. I would sack up for a small weight gain and either fill in the 3T hole or put something red in between it and the bar. Like reflective red tape or something.

Forgot to mention how my knee injections went today. The first knee went normal, spray numbing, followed by needle numbing, followed by orthovisc. Second knee, spray numbing then needle. Couldn't figure out why that one hurt so much more until we figured out that he accidentally grabbed the big needle with orthovisc first. Oopsie. :-)

In other news, I quit drinking way too early today.

I may paint my frame myself. Talked to the bike shop that does paint work. They don't do paint work anymore.

It will be more fun this way, I think.

I'm glad somebody else saw it. I was beginning to think I was crazy. I think I'll just ride it for awhile, and see if I can get used to the new position, it doesn't seem bad so far. If I works out, I think I'll just mod the current cap. There doesn't need to be that much material there. In comparison, my Syntace stem on the Trek has this two piece design:

"Fun" being in the eye of the beholder. In my case, I would substitute with the word "disastrous."

That looks like six parts. Are you doing all the paint and rehab yourself?

I rode 25 miles in the rain on my 4th lightest bike, some legs of the route with loaded panniers and backpack. I feel violated.

Ooops, forgot to post proof that I actually spent 5 minutes finding out that is was only 25 miles that felt like 50.
