Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

He is pretty fast, but we had some head wind today on the ride so that didn't help.

I had plans to do a long ride tomorrow and just noticed that there will be 6" of fresh snow on the ground by 8 AM. I suddenly wish I would not have blown up the hubs on my 27" wheels.

I will consider that a request and find bible rockers to fit.

edit: I wish there was a way to ping TS on this one for pure comedic value of how quick it would be produced.

Back in the heyday of cockrock there was a form of heavy rock devoted to furthering the Christian beliefs. They were known for throwing out hundreds of bibles into the crowd but otherwise looked and acted like their satanic counterparts.

I once again restrained my need to post extraneous videos to make a point.

I don't have that kind of restraint.

Hey miyata man,

When you refer to a "brain trust," are you trying to identify certain people? Are you using it sarcastically? What's the deal?

Some links have died and there remains backstory but this should get you some of the way. I was not the one who coined the term but it was meant to represent the cultural elite of BF who have opinions on current affairs as well as books and art. At the time of the thread I linked too, you were not present "over there" and I felt you were presenting erudite hints to others here. There was no sarcasm toward you. There was a lot of back and forth tittering of all kinds going on in lieu of public conversations. I don't think chat was the dietary staple it now is so my fascination with (whispers) is not a factor yet. (whispers) was a very sarcastic campaign. Hope this helped.
