Pedals?? I just ziptie my feet to the pedal holes in the cranks. For brakes I just reach my bare hand down and grab the wheel. Because I can bench 16,000lbs I can apply enough force to stop a freight train if needed.

What's up with 53-11 these days? He's gone soft. I miss the smack talk of days past.

This forum needs more smack. Bring it on!!

First time I rode one it burst into flames from air friction in the first ten seconds!

I had to finish the ride holding the front wheel axle with my two hands and the rear wheel axle with my toes. And what do you know? That same damn traffic cop stops me AGAIN for speeding! Where's the justice?!

Hey, I don't have the credentials associated with my actual name, as you do, to garner instant respect among the biking community.

My respect comes from being underestimated by folks riding doubles and then schooling 'em when it counts.

Ban me from this thread? That would clearly indicate fear on someone’s part! As the old saying goes, “we fear what we don’t understand.”

No need to fear, my school is always open! :D

I was just giving you a hard time because I felt you were whining a little too much. I put a big ol' smiley face on there to let you know there was no real malice intended. :D

I know that, I was just having a little fun too. I don't take this stuff too seriously. This forum is just a source of entertainment for me and an opportunity to learn something new every so often.

Hey, but thanks for your threads lately, I’ve truly enjoyed reading them. You’re latest, “Have roadies lowered their standards...,” definitely taught me something new.

Checked out your website too, good stuff.

I like to see a video of a motorcycle like burn-out on a road bike...lmao

catatonic 11-02-04 11:26 PM

Hmm, would having the bike catch fire count as a burn out....if so I might know of a Spalding that I could do that to if the owner is willing to let that rusty hting go....

Allow me, for I consider myself to be an expert in this area: it's in the way you eat the rock. You can't just go wolfing it down like a starved animal, you have to chew thoroughly (in fact munch) so that you end up with modelling clay which you use fashion a light-weight speedster out of. Then you chew up the other half and build set of road spikes for everyone following you. Simple eh?

I drove a three inch bolt horizontally through my foot and into the crank, unfortunately dirt got in the bearings and my festering foot came off, I grafted it back on with skin i took off my butt with a sawz all ....I then had to finish the century without a seat....

Oh, I never said how the seat on my bike worked....talk about lightweight, all it is is a post and a tub of.....well I guess that story is better left untold.

...now.....the handlebars....BAH! Just a pair of pipe welded to the fork...now THAT"S a race stance!

Fear my 12.3mph of raw unadulteread speed!!!!!

I've been wondering how Xtrmyorick has been going riding his rock.

What sort of maintenance does this rock require, i wonder?

Amusing thread. I found it using the search function.

I didn't realise road bikes were capable of such speeds.

The C.F should be woven with mixture of Asbestos fibres.

I ride a chromoly mtb for obvious reasons.
