My lycra shorts make my junk look either too small or grotesquely large...and always at the wrong moment.

Shuagster 05-04-11 04:44 PM

I'm the fat guy in process of being the fit guy (25 lbs lost, 15 to go)

My bike is too good for me (Not for much longer)

I'm afraid to go on group rides fearing I'll get dropped in the first 5 miles.

When I'm going up a hill I fear another cyclist will pass me with minimal effort while I'm almost dying.

I don't ride as much as I could.

I spend too much time on BF. (I should be studying right now...)

Brimstone_ 05-04-11 04:53 PM

I like Lance and have a full Livestrong kit.

I sneak in bike rides and runs when my wife isn't around because she thinks I go too much.

I run more than I bike.

I am secretly getting my wife addicting to cycling.

As long as you don't make fun of his facial deformity, I see nothing wrong with that.

For some reason he was embarassed about releasing this photo. I'm not afraid to say he's a fairly attractive guy. NTTAWWT.

I first joined my team so I could wear a team jersey....though now I'm a Cat 3 and I love racing and regret not starting sooner.
I ride $1500 carbon clinchers....as my everyday wheels

This is the best thread this year....by far and from a newb!
I bet pcad wishes he started this thread
i really really love donuts
80 % of my daily caloric intake is pure junk food carbs.
I really don't deserve my bike.
My Garmin doesn't really make me faster.
I can't really keep my HR at 91% max for 2 hours.
I really really really hate getting passed, even at age 57, and even though I say I don't mind.

WhyFi 05-04-11 05:17 PM

Females are a good 50% more attractive when they're on bikes. Even when I'm with my wife, I'll check them out under the guise of figuring out what bike they're riding ("hmmm... Panasonic Caliente? Never heard of that one before..." :innocent:)

tuxbailey 05-04-11 05:18 PM

I enjoy PCad's threads.

I have a compact and a 13-26 cassette.

My average speed sucks.

I use whatever valid upgrade opportunity I have to shave a few grams, but I could still lose 15 lbs of body weight and still be too fat for this sport.

chaulky61 05-04-11 05:31 PM

I cross-chain, even though I can not cite an article that shows the benefit of doing so.

I haven't seen him in a few years but it seems like forever.

rangerdavid 05-04-11 05:40 PM

I've upgraded almost everything on my CAAD 9. I just spent more on new wheels than I originally spent on the bike itself. I think I've put close to three grand into a bike that cost $1300 when it was new. I'll never sell my CAAD. I'm in love with a bike.

Although I've lost 47 lbs, I'm still too fat for this sport, but not as fat as I used to be. I'm still loosing weight though.

I just finished 8th in my first race of the season. Im just as proud of that as if I'd finished 1st. Its only a big deal to me.

My wife, so far, has put up with my cycling extravagances, but I did have to get her a 2.25 ct. diamond for her birthday. She love me.

..... and her new ring.

Cleave 05-04-11 05:42 PM

Hi,

Sometimes I don't come to a complete stop at stop signs.

I talk about being too fat to be a factor at races and how I need to do something about it, but I really don't do anything significant. (I did stay away from the snack vending machine at work today.)

agoodale 05-04-11 05:47 PM

I've never fallen because I failed to unclip (and never will)

I don't patch old tubes after a flat. They sit in my office for about a year until they are cluttering up the place and I throw them away.

I do a few centuries every year. I'll occasionally let a group draft behind me for awhile and then intentionally hammer over a roller. If they can stay with me I'll slow down and chat with them :)

I built my last 2 CF bikes without a torque wrench.

Velo Gator 05-04-11 06:16 PM

I check out junk in spandex and like to tool around at the beach on my bike.

svtmike 05-04-11 06:26 PM

The first thing I did to my bike after getting a fit was to flip the stem back down.

I get impatient with how slowly my tires wear.

I want to try some Schwalbe Ultremo ZX's only because they look so cool.

I like my brake levers to feel soft.

I crossed my cables under the downtube and I liked it.

I don't think my Roubaix looks goofy.

I cross-chain without even a twinge of conscience.

I feel naked riding without a power meter.

I have one more bike than my wife thinks I have.

Velo Gator 05-04-11 06:30 PM

I'm scared of riding in the streets.

svtmike 05-04-11 06:34 PM

I enjoy waking up early on weekends for group rides.
