Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

All of the above. Gay Muslim Republican. I am accepted by nobody because each category is held to be mutually exclusive of the other two by the majority of each class.

The good news is that here, and on your bike, it doesn't matter.

I really am better @ playing these guitars than I used to be. Go figure. Of course that's not saying much. But I'm starting to sound passable to the vast majority of listeners who wouldn't know competent guitar playing if it whacked them upside their stupid LOL crappy 2011 pop music friggin heads. All that being said, it's bedtime for Pcad, I have to crank out 30 miles in the AM and tee time is 6AM. It's darker than S.A.'s mental state here @ 6AM.

This guitar playing is fun and all that, but it's the cycling that keeps me sane.

Considering the fact that a 40 0r 50 watt tube combo amplifier will liquify the sheetrock in your living room with the volume turned up to 6 or 7, that hardly seems a matter for concern.

I dig acoustic playing as much as the next guy, but Pcad rocks the electric guitar.

Serfas TSL 500 on top of my helmet, fantastic little unit, I've been using it quite frequently since August.

Claimed brightness on brightest setting is 500 lumens, the light appeared to be as bright as my old L&M light with a heavy external battery that was rated @ 650 lumens. I use the two high settings on the Serfas light (500, 300 lumens), I get about 2 hours out of it. Plus I have a spare battery that's very light and compact and it would be easy to keep in your pocket as a backup to extend the burn time if you needed it. I don't need it.

It's looking like snow here in the next few days. It was rainy windy and miserable all day today. I worked on my car no cycling today. Gonna take it as a rest day.
