Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I A-B's an iPhone and an Android phone this weekend. The Android phone had a considerably larger screen. The iPhone interface blew it away however with ease of use and a screen that was actually just as usable because it was a sharper/higher resolution display. The Android interface sucked compared to the iOS software/hardware. I still have a dumb phone, but I'll get a smart phone in 2012.

Taipei has the most amazing bike paths. This weekend I saw they just opened a route that goes around the entire city.

58.8 km of MUP heaven (or hell depending on your opinion of MUPs). Let's have a MUP TT!

More surprisingly, old people haven't figured out how dumb texting is. Or how it is geared towards the ME generations isolation from actually being able to be contacted since they are with the damned things more faithfully than a spouse. I've said this before but the next time you visit Canada pay attention to the billboards advertising their national campaign to get their free healthcare receiving citizens to give up smoking and cell phones.

Which Android phone? Hopefully a flagship (Galaxy Nexus, SGS2, etc). You'll also notice each Android company will have their own UI. HTC = Sense, Samsung = TouchWiz, Motorola = MotoBlur, but all can be modded to go plain vanilla Android (Nexus). TouchWiz (samsung) is very iPhone-like.

iPhones are great, but if you like to tinker / customize your phone, Android is the way to go.

I hope all you folks had a nice Christmas. Wife and kid got an Ipad with a military grade case. I got these.

For comparison sake, my Record brakes are around 300g.

The PG-13 police haven't taken that one off the acceptable words list yet. Wait, you can actually curse in PG-13 and even PG if I remember correctly. The unrated commentary on BF has yet to be stricken with it being transposed to ******.
