Giordana Products any good?
Was looking through realcyclist.com's new 2012 jersey/bib short line up and Giordana has a couple that catches my eye. I have never tried a set on, mainly because I have never seen a set in person at any of my LBS. Anyone sporting these? Whats the quality like? whats the sizing like? Are the chamois pads thick and long lasting?

Yes. The fit is amazing. Not super tight like Assos, but still perfectly form fitted for cycling. I have the 2011 Silverline bib shorts and jersey. Both are extremely well made, fit well, and didn't break the bank. I like how the shorts don't have silicon leg grippers. The chamois is great too. Compared to my Assos SS.Uno jersey that had the zipper break after only like 3 rides, the Giordana jersey seems better made and more durable. I've washed it dozens of times and there's no sign of wear anywhere. The Silverline stuff is just great for the money.
*edit* As for the fit, I'm 5' 10" 180 lbs and XL is perfect for both shorts and jersey.

Their low and mid range Silverline stuff are meh - they're just like any other decent jersey. Their Forma Red/Body Clone stuff is amazing. But it comes at a steep price.

It' pretty comparable to most other high quality euro gear. So is the fit. It's not vanity-sized, except for the "superfit" line. That stuff is friggen HUGE. I'd say it's a little better than the equivalent Castelli stuff, but not as nice as Etxe Ondo.

Do you wear a size larger than say PI? I wear small PI bibs and they fit great, have a medium Giordana, and the straps are just right, while the actual shorts could be a wee bit tighter. Wondering if I should order a small Giordana next, but straps might be too short.
Besides, you can always lengthen the straps a little by cutting them open around up high, inserting some fabric and re-stitching.

I've got a few sets of Giordana Silverline bibs. They were my favorites (ahead of Descente, Castelli, Capo, and Voler) until I tried a pair of Hincapie bibs.
I find the Giordana sizing similar to PI. In Castelli and perhaps Capo I have to size up to XL (I'm 6'3", 190), but in all the others I wear a Large.

My club uses Giordana for kits. I've got 2 sets and they're very comfy. Bibshorts tend to run small, jerseys seem ok. 5'7", 148lbs, Size S jersey, M bibshorts.
