Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Why no NFL jerseys?

I see on the web that you can buy cycling jerseys in your favorite NBA, MLB, or college team, but not the NFL... any clue why not? I would LOVE a Packers jersey.

Might be the NFL has stricter merchandising laws or higher fees.

Really? You don't understand???? Often NFL teams are used to identify gangs. I can see you rolling your Steelers jersey and taking a cap from the car parked in front of the liqueur store.

Reading the 41 ought to make it pretty clear that cycling is pretty darn stupid as well. That said, it's a harmless and healthy kind of stupid.

Correct. Nothing beats large athletes making spectacular runs and catches and slamming into each other at full speed. Until they bring back Gladiators, it's the best we can get.

yeah... because so many gang bangers roll up to steal hubcaps on an expensive road bike, tights, cycling jersey and helmet... here let me unclip out of my pedals and steal a hub cap... that is just a really ridiculous answer

The sad thing is that I can't tell if you're being facetious or if you really live in that backwards of a part of the country.

+1. Except Chiefs here, no matter that they suck people still watch. I can already hear the next year will be our year chants.
