Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

(Why?)?

Pcad has bad spine disease, yet he eschews the medicinal effects of opioids because the inherent soporific properties.

So.......

.......why doesn't he ride a ahem recumbent?

We have been waiting a long time, for it is written, "when the fourth recumbent rider of death appeareth, he will usher in the Zombie Apocalypse".

We believe that fourth rider to be Pcad.

When the Zombie Apocalypse hits, if you're not riding a bent, you're just hosed.

Pcad's influence on BF is waning. "Why" was posted two days ago and only 3 pages of responses.

He's slipping. Normally, he would have put that many responses in the thread himself in that period of time.

And it does occur to me that there is more unmitigated dooshbaggery in this sport than in any other hobby or past time on the friggin planet.
Oh my dear pcad, cycling dooshbaggery at its most epic does not even begin to approach the degree of dooshnozzledom found in even entry-level auto racing. And the high end is simply off the charts.

Bikes: All have flats.

Why?

To ride a bike, of course. What other reason do you need?

I thought you got that from the Jets and Sanchez pretending to know what he's doing.

They were in the AFC title game two years in a row moron. Jets fans will take that. Besides, Sanchez's 3 year stats are actually slightly better than Eli Manning's were @ that stage in his career, and Manning has since won a Super Bowl and is arguably right on the cusp of becoming one of the elite QB's in the league, if he is not there now. The thing about QB's like Manning and Sanchez is that they seem to thrive under pressure and they can calmly engineer a successful drive in the last minute or two of a game. You can teach guys how to throw less interceptions or work the pocket better. But you can't teach clutch leadership @ the end of a game. Jury is out on Sanchez.

STFU and get back to your Rush Limbaugh videos.

Ignore our pleas no longer, O Great One. Free your mind for the Dark Side of the Force. It is all in place: when you start riding a bent, the Zombie Apocalypse will be ushered in. Trivialities as you have named will be but a distant memory. We have a full carbon bent chosen for you and ye shall smite the Fred's and Poseurs with justice and self-righteousness. And we shall worship you as our King.
