Geez, ok. I finally checked it, it's not an artifact of the pic. Must have slipped while riding or during one of my mid ride adjustments. Didn't notice it though. Oh well, it's more level now, fwiw.

LOL, how does it slip like that DURING a ride without noticing? whatever, as long as your straight now.

My entry. Purchased it for $80 and all parts I used were bought by either cashback or performance bike points. Yes, I know the stem is up a bit.. I didn't adjust that when I took the pic.

I also posted this in the normal "Hot r Not" thread but assuming I clear about $100 when I sell the stock Rolf wheels I'll only have about $1300 in this, not counting the Garmin 305 which I already had. I think $1300 is budget for this quality.

That Klein is beautiful -- definite Hot. Nice work on that one. So uplifting to see that triple crank and skyward facing ergo bar go die somewhere. Plus nice silver wraps and complementing black seatpost and stem.
How long are those crankarms? They look more than 175. Serious stuff. |

hot (but remove the wheel decals)

nah that's what happens when you fix back2back flats for a friend and she never washes her drive train.....The Kevlar bead detached from the side wall. I didn't get around to trying to clean or replace the tape yet.

Not the best photo. Got the frame on Craigslist and already had most of the parts. |
If those Planet X frames had about half the top tube drop i'd buy one. They just look a little to mountain bikish to me.
I'm down with the dirty bar tape. It looks like you ride. |
she isnt done (finish cable ends, cut steerer, set saddle height) but i am going to throw it up anyway.
ive got ~$400 cash into this build. the rest was done via trade or was collecting dust. http://i280.photobucket.com/albums/k...a/100_1035.jpg http://i280.photobucket.com/albums/k...a/100_1038.jpg http://i280.photobucket.com/albums/k...a/100_1039.jpg |

i am just concerned about sourcing a replacement if a mishap were to occur. i don't think they were known to break easily, but they were well before my time to be honest.
