Deleted. Wouldn't want anyone to have to take the effort to skip over a post that doesn't interest them. Now, on to deleting all other posts in this thread that are not cycling related.

I skipped over this post, because it didn't interest me.

I thought the Glock post was interesting. They are a very interesting piece, and I would think that all of the crabon loving cyclists would be fans. The integration of the steel with plastics on them is pretty amazing. I have not fired one, but my brother owns several. Nice new purchase (I wouldn't use the toy moniker).

*****. <---- kitty

Actually, I don't "get" guns but I don't think they should be banned either.

Kinda like how I feel about ballet or opera. Not interested in them but I understand and respect that some folks ARE interested, and as long as they are responsible with their behavior I don't have a problem.

v70cat 02-07-12 08:28 AM

I think hand guns should be regulated very strictly. Rifles and shot guns are fine but we have no need for automatic/semi automatic assaults weapons.

Exactly. Nothing worse than a bunch of opera hooligans. And don't even get me started about rowdy ballet ruffians.

Need to do a little work on the front brakes, so I figured that I'd finally get around to trimming that periscope while I'm at it.

I'm down with the Bolshoi, those Kirov bastards can kiss my ass.

Ballets don't kill people, ballerinas do.

LesterOfPuppets 02-07-12 09:30 AM

There was a really interesting Glock story on NPR the other day.

(and right wingers will continue to call NPR a buncha commies)

I agree completely. There is just no place in this country for hand guns or that freaking free speech thing the constitution rambles on and on about.

Either support the constitution or don't, you can't pick and choose.

Maybe. But you CAN pick and grin.

If I'm going to defend myself from the gubment, I'm putting an M1 Abrams on the x-mas list. Not the best mileage for a daily commuter, but the crash test ratings are out of this world.

RollCNY 02-07-12 10:44 AM

I'm much more of a "Articles of Confederation and Perpetual Union" guy myself. Never had much use for the Constitution. Too revisionist and modern.
