How much ammunition do I need to buy to become independent of the Knox County Sheriff?

too slow, I'll take Styker with the MK19 grenade launcher configuration

No ammo needed. Just have Daisey distract Enos so Cooter can hook up Roscoe's cruiser to the tow truck, and then jump a creek with both. Problem solved.

The ol' cockpit area looks so much cleaner - no periscope, computer, camera or light. I may just leave it all off for a bit.

Excellent.

Weapons in general are pretty stupid.

WhyFi 02-07-12 12:00 PM

What about Speed Weaponry?

Speaking of law enforcement, this is a real facepalmer.

A trooper is in a high-speed chase. The driver crashes (and is killed). The trooper keeps on going, and does not come back to the accident scene until another law enforcement official reports seeing a crash. The trooper then returns and puts on a show with a fire extinguisher, as if he is trying to save the driver.

I love the comments that try to blame the trooper's conduct on the dead driver.

I agree completely. There is just no place in this country for hand guns or that freaking free speech thing the constitution rambles on and on about.

Either support the constitution or don't, you can't pick and choose.

The constitution was written many years ago and we have refined many concepts in it. Hand gun regulations/licensing is a given in many parts of the country so clearly we can and do pick and choose!

The concept that you have the right to own an assault weapon because the constitution says so is just bogus! When the constitution was written they did not even know what assault weapon where.

Not to mention the much different original context of multi-nation conflict and constant challenges to our sovereignty. Pretty inaccurate to make the case that our current gun reality is what was originally intended. Still, the core is much the same in terms of allowing "common man" credible defense from tyranny.

Oh well, you all can do what ever you want. I just know if a bunch of meth heads decide to try to come into my house when me and my wife are home I would like to be somewhat prepared. I really doubt they will wait 15 minutes for me to call 911 and wait for the cops to show up.

I very well may be over reacting and overly prepared. I'm fine with that. I would much rather err that way than the other. If I never use them for anything other than shooting paper with my dad they will still be worth every cent that I paid for them.

BTW, must have been an interesting weekend... Posts deleted in the "foo of the 41" for being.... off topic? spoilers? Perhaps if there ARE rules of what cannot be discussed herein someone could sticky them in the Addiction pg 1 or refer us to them...? Not quite sure what isn't allowed (outside of general BF decorum) since this thread does seem to be the catch all for 41 side banter.

Another first... I noticed a thread was locked in a forum where I thought virtually anything was fair game... Must be winter for so much BF naughty and clearly not enough riding.... :)

Bike race results, spoilers, are frowned upon in any and all threads.

Agreed. That is why it is necessary to consider the Constitution a living document. Just because the original intent was defense of nation and from tyranny that largely does not reflect the times doesn't mean the intent is no longer valid. Self protection from other citizens would be a no brainer for the drafters if they could have conceived of the current day to day threats of say "meth head home invasion..."

Cool, figured as much. Big reason I didn't read BF much this weekend since I had to watch the Bowl DVR'd...

Actually, I shouldn't say all threads. There can certainly be threads about the races, they just need to have spoiler in the title.

Yeah, when I'm watching Tours on DVR I generally steer clear of racing for the fans etc (and 41 for bigger Tours) to avoid spoil. No huge deal but does take the edge off when one knows the results.

I think you have this wrong: the Constitution meant to protect arms for a Civilian Militia, so assault rifles are exactly what they want to keep available to citizens.

Also, in the event of a Zombie Uprising, I am worried that my .22 plinking rifle may not deal sufficient head shot damage, and I will have to fall back on a pedal wrench.

Just ring your compound with carbon fiber bikes and you'll be fine. They asplode on contact.

WhyFi 02-07-12 02:36 PM

No guns necessary for zombie uprising.

I am really confused about carbon wrapped aluminum parts: does the instant fatigue failure cause the asplosion, or the asplosion induces a fatigue failure? I was gonna start a thread on it, and argue with every response, but then the what do I do with my junk thread made it unnecessary.
