Good ride today. 50 Miles with some hills. Temps were in the 30's. Only 4 riders, the threat of snow plus cold temps must have scared the non-hardy souls.

Now I need to go change my chain, but I am feeling way too lazy...

Good news! Mine has started begging for Synvisc. Unfortunately the first and only provided next to no relief and only for about 4wks. I also need to get new insurance and I'm not so inclined to make more claims for the time being. I guess I just need to stay in that sweet spot of cycling volume that provides pain relieving "lube" w/o added pain...

Damn, that's disappointing - I've got a couple and I was thinking about putting one someplace innocuous on my bike, but I was under the impression that they were cut-out and on a transparent background. I'm not throwing a damn white rectangle on my ride.

So I was just over at my gun nut friend's house. He now has a shooting room. It is a spare bedroom in his second story overlooking his gun range. He has a table set up looking out the window, and he shoots suppressed .22 rifles out the window. It is a pretty sweet setup for shooting in cold weather.
