I'm going to take the day off, no exercising. Plan on running a few errands, pick up a new printer, pick up some new ear buds for riding, pick up some ammo for my dad's 243, then grab some lunch with my neighbor. After that I'm going over to my parents' house and put some little holes in some targets with my old man before the snow comes.

I'll forward your request to someone that actually matters.

You would have much more luck with that than dealing with a peon like me.

The deeply distubing thing about it was that their cars had the steering wheels mounted on the wrong side.

That spider short film is really well done IMO.

One of my coworkers who is a film buff (goes to Sundance yearly) showed it to me.

It's just under 10 minutes long, so if you have 10 minutes to kill it's worth watching. Love the Australian accents too.

From the land of Oz, silly.

I watched the Spider short until he bought the card and plastic spider, and my inside voice said "This will end badly." So I ceased watching. Up until then, I thought it was well put together as far as shot selection and style. Not amateurish.

Anybody see "Haywire"? I know that the chic in it is a professional MMA fighter, and that they didn't have to do all the jump cuts in fight scenes that are so common in modern films to cover poor choreography. It was on my might be interesting to see list.

mvnsnd 02-10-12 08:19 AM

I thought it was well done and enjoyed it. Sure it is a little disturbing, but it's entertainment too.

I would wager that you are an expert on stupid bike repairs.

Yeah I am getting pretty quick on the draw.

35 miles this AM, 3000 vertical feet of climbing. Longest ride in a while, knee is starting to feel semi-normal at times. It's coming around slowly. May try a bit of hammering on the Tour de Phred tomorrow. I'm sure those boys will blow me out the back door. We'll see how it feels in the AM.

Velo Vol 02-10-12 12:12 PM

Hey Pcad,

Did you wear one of these back in the day?

It appears you could buy patterns and make your own!

datlas 02-10-12 12:13 PM

Stupid snow/rain system coming this evening just in time to ruin weekend cycling plans.

Didn't see that in the forecast. OK, I'll switch to Plan B.
