What's your point? I'm in this stock for the long haul. What it does in the next few months is of little consequence to me. The company's sales will make it the largest company in the world within 5 years by any metric, it's already about the most profitable, the stock price will follow sooner or later.

What happened to the $650 handbuilt wheel thread?

I'm curious why it was deleted. Lock it, if necessary, but don't delete it.

There seemed to be some good responses in there, last time I looked.

I believe that the person that starts a thread can delete it completely. This is the 2nd thread in a couple days that has poofed in to thin air, both were started by the same dimwit, both poofed when he started taking heat for being eminently ridicule-able.

Too bad the "ideal body for cycling" got the boot....

And no, Greece is not "over." Even though the country itself is small in the grand scope of things, it represents the toxic balance sheet waste that poisons the global economy.

That is true but they did take steps to resolve the problem and Germany is sticking it to them. I just could not resist the play on words.

It sure does seem like Germany is controlling Europe and the USA is picking up the cost of the military.

Greece is small and we need to stop focusing on the mistakes of the past and be positive. The fact is that we have a World Economy that should grow and benefit everyone.

Greece owes a lot of money to a lot of people.

By "people" I mean corporations.

Politics?

Why is this here?

Does this mean Assassin can post about guns?

World events is not Politics. We are not talking about party politics which is almost as dumb as guns.

We were talking about the stock market and Apple stock. Then someone mentioned the Greece factor.

Considering that you get less than one percent on a savings account the high dividend stocks like VZ and T seem like winners. Apple does not given dividends but considering all the money they are making maybe they should.

LAJ 02-14-12 02:53 PM

Cool.

Assassin and LowCel can talk guns then. That's not politics either.

Talking guns vs posting photo after photo of guns (assault weapons) just to Antagonize

Is two different things!

I have to say that after riding in Fl and all the bad areas, makes you think about protection.
FL makes NYC look like Disney World.

I'm a fat old recreational cyclist; where can I get some 1000 gram wheels for under $100?

LAJ 02-14-12 03:02 PM

Sometimes stuff requires pictures. I know they helped me to understand what was being discussed.

Come on Assassin said it himself that he was doing it to "Antagonize" which is against the rules.

I am not against guns or its discussion. He talk about hand guns in NYC this morning which was fine.

Tin foil rims, empty pixie stick tube spokes, and icecream cone hubs (not waffle, the puffy sugar cones). Just don't run them in the rain.

It's the dismal science.

Assassin already posts about guns.
