Thanks for the offer sir. I may take you up on that. Ironically, my little sister was talking about getting a concealed carry permit before she moves to NYC. I had to inform her that that would not work for handguns are banned in NYC. I suggested carrying a shotgun on a sling. That earned me the not amused look. I never travel w/o a firearm of some sort, but I won't let you do yourself in with it. I would be the most praised member on BF if I did that, and I don't think I am ready for that.

I think Soloist would fit right in some areas outside town here (except he'd have to learn how to climb hills).

Every once in a while when I'm riding about I hear gun shots. I can't tell if someone is shooting at me, an innocent animal, or some cans in the back yard. Either way, it's disconcerting.
