I'm having my fourth Crumbs cupcake in 3 days.

Yes, I'm fat.

...but I have cupcakes, so I don't need your approval.

WhyFi 02-25-12 08:33 PM

Oh, gun people.

#!

At least I can pride my self on not being able to fill out one of your jerseys.

I had a "double dutch" chocolate muffin earlier.

My wife edited a paper for a non-native english speaking coworker. As thanks, he delivered two boxes of Crumbs cupcakes (four cupcakes in each box) to her desk. The one I had tonight was chocolate cake with peanut butter creme frosting dipped in chopped peanuts and chocolate chips, topped with a peanut butter cup. I've experienced worse ways to tack on 500 calories.

edit - ah, I found a pic -

He was probably dropping the hammer when his tennis shoes slipped off his platforms. The resulting foot/MUP collision sent shock waves through the island.

Velo Vol 02-25-12 09:34 PM

Probably forgot to unclip from his platform pedals and toppled over, causing the tectonic plates to shift.

That sucks. Pass on our well wishes to iJen. I hope she's ok. Hopefully the scumbag gets whats coming to him in prison.

Correct.

I finally saw a house in Bergen County yesterday that wasn't overpriced by $100K. That only took 8 home viewings. WTF are people thinking in this market? If you want to know what your house is worth, have your realtor pull the recently sold comps, then add $20-$30K for wiggle room and you're there. That's how I'll price my house when we list it for sale.

I don't get it. Half these people are smoking crack. You see one house after another that went on the market for $979K, was then reduced to $879K after 6 months and then eventually sold for $825K. I'm amazed there is still so much of this overpricing. The market is the market. More than half the reason RE isn't selling is that many sellers simply aren't in touch with price reality in 2012.

People always think the home they have is better than the rest and worth more.

The broker that tells them that it only worth X will lose the listing to the fast talking broker that says how special the home is and that it is worth more.

What do you know about sales? Leave it to the pros.

Once they have the listing they use the offers to reduce the price. Most people don't really know what market value is.

More than half the 'pros', that's for sure. I once held a commercial RE license and I was in sales for a decade.
