I agree. It's pretty stupid. But that's where it is. Makes it hard to sell a home, just as hard to buy one.

Velo Vol asks the hard-hitting questions.

Velo Vol 02-26-12 08:16 PM

Basically, the only hat I wear is the cycling helmet, unless it is cold.

coasting 02-26-12 08:18 PM

i wear a wide brimmed hat when it is sunny here.

i wear a castelli cold weather cycling cap under my helmet or casually sometimes. have a capo cycling cap that i never wear.

coasting 02-26-12 08:20 PM

so i have today and tomorrow off work and instead of going to ride today I am going to my friends house to play video games. How far have i fallen off the cycling wagon? On the other hand, I am looking to buy a property and one of the main factors to consider is how far would i be from a cycle path.

am i still a cyclist?

No.

Speaking of which, I just heard someone asking a cycling question during Prime Minister's Questions.

LesterOfPuppets 02-26-12 08:29 PM

I took the day off the bike and it was sunny most of the day! Video Games, Movies, cake, popcorn, Scrabble. One of the "movies" I watched was Tour of Oman, however. I've just got into the final stage, so no spoilers guys!

Can you get this stuff in Taiwan, coasting? I grabbed it from the free clearance bin because of the hilarious name but now I'm hooked on it!

I heard that being a cyclist in british politics marks you out as part of the political elite. the Prime minister does it, leader of the hous of lords does it, London mayor does it. colonel bob stewart, comander of UN forces in Bosnia, says it is more dangerous riding his bike than being in a war zone.

alas, no hardness in a jar here.

rjones28 02-26-12 08:37 PM

I wear several different hats. I have a fleece cap for winter, a straw hat for summer chores outdoors, ball caps, cycling caps for under my helmet when needed.

coasting 02-26-12 08:39 PM

i like panama hats

I also have some hats that are just for fun. A pith helmet, a top hat, a fedora, a deer stalker, and a Robin Hood hat complete with pheasant feather.

If a moderator at a Republican presidential debate here asked about promoting cycling, the audience would boo and jeer him.

Sigh... I cook A LOT and that is one of the more difficult problems I encountered there. I had a hard time finding lots of international ingredients. That was ages ago but I fondly remember going to apothecaries looking for spices to cook with... what fun!

In a climate-controlled air-tight vault. Right next to my bike, floor pump, helmet, and gloves.

rjones28 02-27-12 09:43 AM

Our new energy company forgot to put us on the auto-delivery schedule when they set up our account. We found out about it this morning when we noticed a chill; the inside temp was 55.

Oops.

Let me take this opportunity to remind you that you are all idiots or Freds, some of you are both, and what's worse, some of you are Republicans.
