internal cabling
This is concerning a Scott Foil frameset.
When I got the frame it was a teardown from a a stock foil 20 setup. The shop also removed all the cables, so i without guides I have to recable the bike from scratch. My concern is the friction around the bottom bracket. I got a pressfit GXP bottom bracket but the housing looks to be made of plastic, With bare metal cables having to go around the device. im worried about the cables tearing into the housing. Should I do a liner for the cables even though its routed internally?

Are you sure the cables will actually come in contact with the BB?
Using a liner can also cut down on a bit of frame noise (from the cables rattling against stuff) so that alone might make it worth the effort.

at tension yes they would touch, especially the front derailleur cable. They removed the old PF shimano BB and I saw how the cables would have to go around the BB. With such a tight loop around the housing. It would definitely be safer to route it around the BB instead of the cables touching the frame.
