Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Looks like the guy needs to get a divorce? Might as well walk around w/ a sticker saying "Im a p y & my wifes got my balls". Bad choice that poor fella has made.

Well Mr. Smarty if you thought creatively you could have used LemondFan4ever and had room to spare. But Nooooooooooooo...

Lol, never understood the fascination w/fixies, so no.

Imo, wouldnt it have been a smarter decision to make a replica of that 86 bike, instead of passing off an updated version of it?

Wouldnt have a problem w/ them making say a few hundred "collectors versions" of an exact replica of it for the $7k, but the current one, as you said, has nothing to do w/ him or that 86 bike.

Well, had I known you couldnt use all 16 letters initially, I wouldve done that. Infact, I tried going back to do that, but guess what? Wouldnt let me do that either.

Lol, to the guy who brought it up in the 1st place.

Also, if LOOK had made an exact replica of Lemonds 86 bike(as say a "super collectors edition" of like 150), I might have been more inclined to buy one, regardless of the $7K tag. Theyre trying to sell an ugly bike imo.

And yet in his OP he would have paid $3000 for one in his size. He's learning.

this one was doomed half way through the first post.

I'm only surprised it hasn't been a bigger train wreck.

In fact I'm a little dissapointed. You came strong out of the box, but then some conciliatory, even reasonable posts, bled the life out of it.

Ya, most of the posts are like a pack of wolves circling their prey waiting for a hint of fear or the smell of blood and once that fine line is drawn and crossed it's in for the kill so to speak. I have never seen a forum with so many threads that go into a tail spin for no real reason as I have here.

The problem is there are SO many idiot OP's. It's a target rich environment.

I think there are a lot of high post "idiots" that are a lot more ignorant than most of the "easy targets".
