Carbon Seat Post Installation
So, I'm getting ready to install my new carbon seat post and, though I know that I should clean all the grease out of the seat tube, I don't know if I need to put any other kind of lubricant or carbon paste on the seat post before installation. The directions don't mention anything other than removing the grease. What do you all think? (BTW, the post is for my Allez.)

If you are installing a carbon fiber post in the Al seat tube of your Allez, I would apply carbon paste and torque to 55 in-lbs.
I have a new Roubaix SL3 which is carbon fiber with carbon post and no carbon paste is suggested and I don't run any. With carbon on Al I would however.
HTH.
PS: use alcohol to thoroughly clean the interior of the seat tube and seat post before applying the carbon paste.
