Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Bianchi Veloce 2002

What do you guys think of this frame? I'm wondering if it would be compatible with vintage (campy)components at all. It's got Chromolite advance tubing, Carbon-L Bianchi fork (threadless mount)Bianchi stem, G force HP250 threadless headset, campagnolo Veloce bottom bracket and a Bianchi seat post. The frame set seems to be in pretty good condition from what I can see. Is it worth 400?

Bikes: 2011 Scott Addict R3 and Redline Conquest with Campy Veloce

How vintage? I had the same bike, but it was stolen from me. Don't worry, mine was a 49cm. But the thing is, it came with campy veloce components that were all aluminum and it looked good. I want to have another bike like that and have something like the aluminum campy athena 11sp on it now.

For $400, I think it's a good deal given the condition. I don't see any big nicks or anything. I also liked the ride on frame, although it did seem a bit long in the top tube for me.
