Bikes: Cannondale Synapse '06, Mongoose titanium road bike '00--my commuter. Yes, Mongoose once made a decent ti road bike.
All medications have bad side effects. Just wondering what the bad side effects of SYNVISC are. Just suggesting.

Well, Pcad I do wish you the very best. As someone who has jumped through a bunch of hoops to stay on a bike I sympathize fully and will hope for relief if not recovery.
If this doesn't work Di2 is something that could help me with the various convoluted options I've tried for shifting both derailleurs from the right side of my bars. Just say'n.
You would have the satisfaction of getting me off Campy and onto your beloved Dura Achee as well.

You milk it for what you can, then you milk it some more.
Then at my age, you forgot you already posted about it, and you do it again.

Still think a recumbent beats no bike any time. Peter you are not old and fat and having nothing to prove, ride and enjoy. I know that you are still faster than me but I have fun and that it the point.

If I was off a traditional bike for medical reasons I might consider it, but I don't think I could get into cycling in that position. Hey, until you try it, you never know. But it's so terminally Fredly I don't think I could ever accept it. Hell, I think I might roller blade first. If I do that, I'll be sure to do it on MUPs, and I will try to impede poser Freds as much as possible with my wide-swinging Pcad Speedskater Form.

This is like speculating that a runner with first time shin splints will never run again. It's far more likely I'll be cycling again later this year.

I just don't think I'd like that riding position. I do like walking. We walked the dog today, a couple of miles, up and down hills. Not the workout a bike ride is, but any exercise makes me feel better (my sore end notwithstanding). Once my pain calms down the walking should not aggravate it.

I hope you get better soon. I have one of those Brooks Imperials sitting in my basement not doing anything if you want to give it a try and see if it helps your problem.
BTW ... Did you really think I was gonna to tell you who I was when I met you on that ride ?
"Oh I work for the Pусская мафияand I provide financial services to organizations and people who are unable to ....." burp ... gimme a break....

Walking the dog with the wife is nice but it is not serious exercise.

If I were a Mod, I'd ban you immediately.
