Garmin 500/800 Wheel Size
In the Bike Profile section, normally I use "Custom" and enter 2096 for my 700x23 wheels. For whatever reason, it kept changing the wheel size to 2000 which screws up readings. Anyone has the same problem?

Hmm, I just got a Edge 800 and have used it on two of my road bikes. One with 700x23 and the other with 700x25. I just let it due it's own auto-calibration on the first ride with each bike and all seems well. I am still using my NODE 2 with the Garmin just to compare and both register all data pretty much identically. The node 2 has both bike profiles set up in it also for the different sizes. Not sure what is causing your problem though. Can you just reset and let the computer auto-calibrate?

Yes - it's happened a few times and I've managed to clear it up using one or the other:
1) rebooting the unit. When it's off press PWR + START/STOP + PAGE/MENU simultaneously. I don't think it deletes prior history files but you might want to back them up to your PC just in case.
2) put a new battery in the GSC10 sensor.
Alternatively, I've heard the "Auto" measure feature is pretty accurate so I'm not planning on worrying about manual settings going forward.
