Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Lots of money involved with bikes in this forum and I'm sure one gets stolen from time to time. How about a section with searchable bike serial numbers.

Says "CLOSED" so I guess it wasn't such a good idea.

It's closed so that it doesn't turn into a free-for-all. In case a bike is stolen, a PM or email to a staffer will get the info posted in the thread.

Incorrect. It IS a good idea, somebody just beat you to it.

If you have a stolen bike to report, contact Tom Stormcrowe and HE will put up the notice for you. A poster cannot post up his bike on his own, it must be done by the admin.
