Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I used what they gave me, but I live in an arid climate that doesn't get a lot of rain. Caged is fine.

Thanks. It was one of the frames I looked at in my never ending waffle of getting a "rain bike". Rain bike is a misnomer because it would also be a trainer bike and a long distance comfortable bike.

It is a remarkably comfortable ride with the geometry like it is. At 6'1", I ride a 53cm with a 90mm stem, which seems weird, but it took building a 55cm (which I thought would be small) to discover this isn't traditional geometry. Built it up and sold it for a little bit of profit.

Interesting. I was thinking at 6'3" I would be the XL (58.5) but I will relook at that.

We all fit differently, but these frames definitely do not behave like you think they would. I'll see if I can't take a few pics this weekend of me on it to show you what it looks like.

A lot of helicopters in the air today as Formula 1 weekend kicks off. Perfect weather today...sunny and upper 60's. Reports are that getting to the track hasn't been difficult but also that "the crowd" expected to fill every hotel room between Dallas and San Antonio hasn't shown up. I'm heading out tomorrow for qualifying day, riding my bike to the bike valet parking then taking a shuttle. It'll be my first ride in 2 weeks...6.7 miles with -70 ft of "climbing".

'round dese parts, deys rabbits that absolutely must wait to cross the road/path until the moment before you get there. Passed a coyote at high noon on my lunch ride the other day.

Squirrels are indecisive where you can see them. Rabbits hide in the shrubs until you approach. Dey bofes has teh ebil.

Yeah, but sheet man, that's gonna be 6.7 miles home with +70ft of climbing after several 'barrels' of Fosters when you go home!

I'm pretty sure that reduced fat sour cream is just plain Greek yogurt. Greek yogurt should be sold in 16 oz instead of just 6 oz, 24 oz and 32 oz.

IMO it should be sold in 64 or 128oz. That would reduce packaging for my house. We go through 3 32oz containers each week.
