I like your thinking on this one Doc.

I have a fluctuating attention span and wasn't really following the discussion beforehand.

But yes, few things are more pathetic than wealthy white American Christians crying about being persecuted.

I would be quite happy if I never had to touch a tool in 2013.

Vodka, on the other hand has been my favorite for a while, usually Grey Goose during the holiday season.

A mostly spent bottle of Absolut and some Stolichnya. There is a local distiller too.

You're doing it right, rjones.

You're also doing it right, RUOkie. But, that's only the beginning. Wait till you get a router, or some other thing that does neat "stuff" Everything in your house will have nice quarter round edges, and sanded smooth as a babies butt.

Sad, Velo Vol. Imagine the possibilities if you only opened up your mind. Look at the Park Tools catalog. Start small. Cable cutters, cable stretchers, just cool stuff!

Well, it's entertaining to see Mr. Pcad have his metal tested again so we can see if it has turned to rust.

It is, isn't it.

I actually have a maintenance project I'm told needs done: replace a bearing in my White Industries hub. But I can't even figure out what tools that would require, or if it's cheaper for the shop to do it.

I think Pcad is mostly carbon fiber now.

I'm actually worried about this thread. Solo's drama seems to be over, and Jen has abandoned. How will we be able to keep crazypcad in check? WHOOSHIE only comes by once a day, and VV, rjones, and coasting only have so much to say.

I have nothing to say.

Herbie53 12-18-12 03:06 PM

Solo disappeared. Maybe he answered a booty call.

Correct.

Time for a group hug and a campfire song version of Kum Bay Ya. What key is that in?

I am certain I linked you to the technical document outlining the procedure. But, it's OK. Nothing wrong with having a shop do some repairs either. A front hub bearing is integral to proper bike control.

Maybe Jen is still here, just running a different course.

That was the first song I learned to play on my guitar. I still play it quite badly.

fify

RUOkie 12-18-12 03:16 PM

I would let the shop service my bearings.

patentcad 12-18-12 03:16 PM

Sorry RW. I got carried away with my disdain for you.

I'll be nice.

I will confess, underneath it all you know something about bicycles. Which may be as far as it goes, but on the 41, that's significant.

Perfect. You play rhythm, I'll launch into a soaring high gain lead at the worst possible moment.
