Interesting article. One could extrapolate to certain triathletes.

Ouch.

I haven't read the article yet, but I'm fixn' ta.

The fact is, there's so much lying and faking and deceit amongst us in the everyday world, hell, the internet just makes it so much easier. It's endemic! On the internet you can be what you want to be, regardless of what the world's reality is.

Very interesting article.

Correct.

Makes you think. Maybe I should come clean.

Alright. Here goes.

I ...

... what if I told you I really wasn't from Guildford — I was from a small planet somewhere in the vicinity of Betelgeuse?

I did. I watched it and rooted for certain riders. You say it's entertainment now, but you were getting up to watch live racing. In case you forgot, you have a Lance poster in your office. Even I didn't go that far.

It's all a farce. No matter what the sport claims, there will always be doping. Every win is marred by the possibility and the likelihood. I feel bad for guys like Gary. If you're fast and you win, now on any level, there will be doubters.

I don't know. Why? Do you think it's the sort of thing you're likely to say?

Drink up. The world's about to end.

Hey Mr. Rjones28,

Kudos on the completion of the mountain bike. I realized today that I forgot to comment on your pics.

That is all.

No deceit. No Munchaussen by Schwinn.

DG

It's a rather obvious reference to somebody from my generation. We grew up in the 70's watching Casablanca 100x.

If nothing else, much of the reaction to that movie 'Flight' only underscores the stunning obliviousness of much of the world to alcoholism and addiction. They don't call them Earth People for nothing baby.

That was a non-sequitur.

And all those idiots in Washington and on CNBC are worried about some fiscal cliff.

Thanks. BTW, all of the cogs on that cassette work pretty well; I used all nine of 'em first time out. :)

rjones28 12-04-12 09:21 PM

And who would lie about owning a Schwinn?

sbxx1985 12-04-12 09:32 PM

I'm curious, so I'll ask. Did ijen unfriend everyone in this thread except for OCLV and pcad?

Don't go using them all at once. Ease into 9 speed. A man's got to know his limitations.
