3. - riding a mountain bike.

Well if you're going to eat lots of bread you better be locked-in to lots of biking, because bread turns directly to sugar. Of course guys like Datlas could eat all the bread they want without concern.

I know they are ugly but they are what God gave me. :(

The good news: No snow so far this winter.

The bad news: It's winter.

Rate LowCel's feet on a scale from 1-10.

Yeah, but kinda like that photo on the New York Post, terrible thing to just stand around and watch. Between pcad, me, gsteinb and many more in this thread alone, I am sure more than several hundred years of marriage experience exists.

Agree with number 3 but you are way off base on 1 and 2.

For strain/sprains, I'd give it an 8.

The beer consumed can be the only explanation, that and a little in breeding.

Oh yeah, well at 17 you can eat what you want and as much as you can stand. 20 years later it's a different story.

What's a cold rain-65 F?

These are only supposed to be "snacks."

I'd say the carbs won out big time over the veggies.

No rain here but the roads are still wet. Got my Free Spirit all kindsa gritty.

I gained about 7 positions on this one

and about 5 spots on this one (that happens to be led some MTB dorkus that was clearly driving around with his Strava on)

Too funny, she's combined revenge with aerobics, call it vengeobics and sell it as a new workout plan. SA- any of this look familiar to you, I told you once before be afraid, be very afraid.

I commute by bike, day in and day out. so far it's winning against the bread. It is slightly losing to the chocolate and the cheese though.

Okay, with 10 being hot and o being not, I would venture a 3. Whats remarkable is that the uninjured hoof is just about as ugly.

Ok, I'll give it a shot.

SA, I don't think I have tossed out any negative feedback, and I never told you not to do this. I have been on the "It is better to burn out than to fade away" line all along. But I also mentioned limmerance early on, and that is what your posts smell of.

Limmerance is perfectly normal in a relationship, the highs of she's perfect, to the crashes of she's horrible, in unpredictable cycles, based on largely superficial things. And your posts go from high to low on largely superficial things.

You have supported her in her counceling, and you have to play the long game with that. It will take moving through multiple councellors, and it is a process. I learned this with years of marriage counceling, some good, some bad (like 4 sessions on my wife buying a Mustang, which I told her I was fine with before the 1st session), but eventually things work out the way they should.

The issues with her dad are another long game. If you are in this for the long haul, you have to be the constant, and let her ricochet. She doesn't know how this will work out, her dad is in trouble, and boyfriends / husbands frequently get rolled into the dad issue and backlash.

You reacting to her not texting you is a third grade maneuver. If letting this run its course means to you what you say it does, stop acting on the superficial crap that you post here, pick a piece of ground, and hold it. Removing your pic of her on your phone was spiteful. Stand up for yourself, but don't be spiteful.

Every relationship should involve adults. She is not acting the part at the moment, so you need to.

Good luck and best wishes.

Thanks for the advice. In the beginning, I said I didn't want any advice, but now I am contemplating my options here. She said she wanted to back off, and go back to just dating. Which she has said she has wanted all along despite her words, and actions that completely contradict it. So that's where we are at now, backing things off. Going back to just dating. When you say "superficial things", I am not attracted to her because of her appearance, none of that. I have always had an unexplainable bond with her, and I have no idea why.

The not responding to the phone calls, and or txt messages, raises a big red flag to me. It is out of total lack of respect. It takes 2 seconds to respond and say, "everything is fine, I'll call you tomorrow." Hell with the new iOS on our iPhones, she can make two clicks when I call, and send an automated message back to me, so I know everything is alright. This isn't the first time this has happened. Not to mention yes, she cheated on me in HS, and has lied to me on many occasions. She has claimed to be completely honest this last go around, but it's hard to trust someone with this history. I don't think she does it on purpose. I think it is caused by her depression. She's told me she always felt like she was never good enough. Guys would always cheat on her, and some of them beat her. She's had a rough way to go do to some of the people she chose to date. I was always the exception. Probably the reason she would always come back to me. The problem is, nothing is ever good enough including me, it seems. Which is ironic, because a little over a week ago she told me I was "too perfect".

I did not remove the pic of us as my wallpaper out of spite. She wants to back things off, so that is what I am doing. I have not talked to her since yesterday. We have plans to go out Sunday. I am not going to talk to her until then, unless she calls me. She told me early on, the reason she came back in my life is she thinks about me everyday. So a week of no contact should perhaps re-intensify those feelings. I told her she can call me if she needs me, because I want to be there to help her with her depression, and what not. Other than that, I think I need to pull back, and show her what it's like when we aren't talking, and txting everyday, which she initiated. I am a bit weary that she might go elsewhere for some support, but after 12 years out of hs, she has come back to me several times, so I am not worried about that too much. She told me to call her if I needed anything too. I want to call her, and I missed hearing from her several times like we usually would talk in day. However, I am trying to stay strong, and act like it doesn't bother me. I am also concentrating on my job a lot more. She would call me some nights, and say she wanted to see me, and I would drop everything, and drive down, and spend the night with her. I really can't leave that option open right now.

I am not sure what will come of our date Sunday. I am also interested to see if she calls, or txts me in the meantime. I know I can go a week without her. I hope we can do a lot of talking about our issues. She says she never felt good enough for anyone else, well that is exactly how she has made me feel time, and time again. I don't want to be confrontational about any of it. I want to try to talk things out, and make it a helpful endeavor. Any advice you can extend would be appreciated.

At least that's the rule I have always lived by with the fairer sex. I would wager that if you said the above to her face, your problems would be over and you could get back to riding your bike as you would without a doubt be extremely single.

You are right, I would never say that to her face. The only reason I said any of that, is to express the fact that it isn't her appearance that draws me to her. It is something else entirely. I've dated a lot of very good looking attractive females in the past. I've never been able to connect with them, like the two of us do. Sorry if that post seemed shallow. It was intended to show the opposite.
