Of course he did, but most of the time he just likes to see himself talk. It keeps him relevant in his own mind....

Funny thing is that the best thing she could do for herself is get back in, offer a mea culpa and go on learning something of what demons motivated her to such behavior. I think all are pretty forgiving in this place, I for one do not hold grudges and am guilty of thinking the best, not the worst of all about me.

I watched some of the Kona coverage yesterday. Seeing the various stories and what people put themselves through to finish reinforced for me why what Jen did/is doing was very wrong and effed up. But yes, a simple mea culpa would go a long way.

Snow on the ground, freezing outside,, bikes in the garage.

About to leave for the gym.

Gee it sucks to be soft, fat and unfit...

Trainer workout this morning for an hour and a half to justify the gluttony that will come tonight and tomorrow.

Beautiful weather here yesterday prompted the wife to give me my Yule gift early - a pair of NorthWave Artic winter cycling shoes. Took the MTB out for a 45 km romp in the mud, and broke 7000 km for the year.

YES! Mission Accomplished!

I have to say too that there are few pleasures like taking out a World Cup level MTB (the only parts on the bike not top of the line are the brakes and the rear shock) and hammering it on the trails and basically being a complete hoon.

Sadly I flatted on the way home, neglected to carry a spare tube, and had to walk the last 5 km. New boots are awesome for riding, less so for walking - chewed up the backs of my heels pretty good. Still a great day on the bike though.

All y'all want pics, huh?

Yes I do, and yes it can penetrate an engine block. The fact remains I am a man of morals and one thing you never do is mess with another man's automobile. You just don't do it.

Good to know you have such high standards.

Little 25 miler to close out the year. We are expecting snow and some darn cold weather (back into the 40's Jan 1).

I know: What happened to the other 75 miles?

Yeah, had I known I was messing with his girlfriend I wouldn't of done that, either. However, I didn't know she ever was until it was too late.

I suspect that is the case. Plus who knows what else she may of been doing. I can't trust anything she says at this point.

Oh no, please . . . not on Christmas eve.

BillyD 12-24-12 04:17 PM

SA I know what you've been through and what you're still going through. I know all about it, believe me, I'm familiar. It happens . . . all the time and to most folks in one form or another. It's called unrequited love, ok. You will pull through this, and one day you will look back and laugh.

But PLEASE, for the love of, uh, Pete, please spare us this drama for the next 48 hours? Please. Find a close friend or family to confide in please for the time being.

Thanks.
