I have the same. Got caught in the rain in a series of rides over 10 years ago. I noticed my BB was loose (bought the bike from an unmechanical friend who thought he'd become a cyclist), so I decided to repack everything (hub, headset, BB) before any corrosion set in. Easy enough to do. Bearings are a standard size and should be easily attained at your local better bike shop or automotive supply if you need them (get Grade 25 or better). I used Phil Wood grease, but there are many effective and cheaper grease out there. Come to think of it, its about time I break the hubs open and take a look again. The wheels still spin nicely though. I had recently retired the BB due to a crank swap. The headset was replaced when I went threadless. Ironically, this bike has become my primary rain bike.
