Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Yeah, sis has a much cuter face. Crazy's rack is legendary, but eyes are way too far apart. Total Avatar eyes.

Just took a picture of the watch my wife gave me for Christmas. I love it.

We had to look high and low for a Chinese restaurant that was open this evening, which made me wonder, "what do MN Jews eat on Christmas?"

Thanks; I really like that song, just wrote it. Went over big @ the Gong Show (Open Mic Nite) in Warwick, NY last week. One of these days I'll pick my favorites and get into a proper studio and lay down some multi track versions. I'm starting to enjoy those outings more, even though I inevitably crash and burn on one song. I figure that's like getting dropped on group rides when you're first trying to race. You keep going back and sooner or later you hang on. I'm getting more relaxed about the perpetual stage fright and self humiliation, the only way to get past some **** is to go through it. I really enjoy hanging out with the other hack musician wannabes and trading notes. There is some talent at these things too (I do not include myself in that). Mainly I go to try to find other people to play music with, eventually in a band.

Thanks. I'm not sure what they are to be honest. They may be for the solar portion of it.

i'm listening to the other stuff now. you have a good voice. would be fun to put out a cd. a guy at work did that. it was not as good as your stuff and he was doing gigs in clubs here. another guy is a drummer in a band and does gigs in his spare time. does good guns n roses covers.

The first time that a Jewish coworker told me about the Christmas tradition (his word, not mine), I thought that he was joking. When he deadpanned, "no really, we all (Jews) do" it made me even more certain that he was joking, despite his ongoing protestations. After a decade of not having any friends/coworkers contradict him, I'll concede that it seems to be pretty damn ubiquitous.

I have much more interest in getting into a band situation than laying down multi track recordings. Eventually I may do that latter, but I'd rather use the singing and song writing as a vehicle to get me playing with other people to further my guitar playing. I'm into playing, recording is really a ton of work, and for what? Not as satisfying as playing live in my view.

But I'd like to get something a bit more polished onto tape, and the only way you can do that is multi track with somebody who knows what they're doing. I don't have the patience to do it myself. Ooofaaa. That's like a part time job already. There are guys who know what they're doing around here who will give a day in their studio for $300 or something like that.

I'll write songs for another year and maybe then I'll pick the best 3 or something like that.

Nope, I'll save that for when I win the lottery and buy my first Rolex.

The two Eco Drive watches I've had (I had one, my wife had one) never worked right.
