Thanks for being straight with me. I feel like I'll have closure with what I've done, for there is nothing left for me to say. The decision she makes is now on her. The recent discovery which is probably no surprise to any of you. The other guy has been coming around again, and his recent presence in her life no doubt has caused the rift between us. I had my suspicions all along, but it was confirmed today. She says she needs closure between him, and her, but for crying out loud this has been going on for 3mo now. So I had to make this one last stand, and present the ultimatum. I had to make it apparent, that there is no coming back after this. Hell the fact that I am even talking to her still, is a testament of how much I really care. If it was any other girl, I would just cease to talk to her ever again without giving her a choice. She probably doesn't even deserve this last chance. With all these years between us, and everything that has gone on. I just couldn't end it all without a saying what I had to say. It doesn't even hurt anymore. I just feel numb at this point.

Reality check Solo - If she loved you, she wouldn't have been seeing the other guy - she's burning the candle on both ends and you're still putting your hand on the stove. If I was in love with someone and an ex came around, I'd simply say I'm involved with someone else and please don't call. Don't apologize to us, apologize to yourself. Please spend more time with your dog who is completely devoted & loyal to you. He deserves your time. I don't think your friend can live up to your dog's qualities. You keep saying the decision is hers - WRONG ANSWER - it's your decision - don't be an idiot. As stated before, go out with new friends, no more ex's. Maybe you should write Dr. Phil and get on his show - the audience will be entertained - getting old for me. I'd never trust this chick!!!!
Close the door and keep going! IT IS YOUR DECISION, NOT HERS any longer unless you are masochistic.
