Joggers who jog on a bike lane and you give them a "courtesy excuse me kinda thing" and they yell back at ya about sharing the road... attitude and all. THEN GODDAM JOG IN THE CAR LANE "F"HEAD!!!

Ya cheap basterd...:D. A

All kidding aside, can't broadbrush all charity rides with one stroke. They're not perfect, and yes while there are real costs in supporting the ride for feeding stations, road closures and other overhead, I doubt the recipient would/could have raised the funds from people simply writing cheques unless there was some sort of event/activity tied into it.

Bonktown changing their name to Chainlove. Sounds more like an SNM website

No. There are categorized lots, "good", "better", "best" etc and an item can belong to the category "best" so "one of the best" is ok. Ditto for "favourites".

However it is incorrect to say "more unique" or any kind of unique because "unique" means singular.

Nope. Go back to school.

Like using a double negative in urban vernacular - "I didn't do nothing." - we understand the intended meaning, but still grammatically incorrect.

And the 3M Co.

So crappy that you can't get it off the roll without it tearing,

Then OK blue tape at inflated prices

Then make the regular tape even worse, to increase sales of the blue tape

Then wildly inflate prices of the blue tape

Not a big fan of duct tape, either, but that's not really a peeve.

You really have a thing against tape huh

Actually, Bonktown was a "spinoff" from Chainlove. Chainlove was general bike schwag with a tendency towards MTB. Bonktown was allegedly a pure roadie schwag site. For whatever reason, the owners pulled the plug on Bonktown and folded it back into Chainlove.

I do miss Bonktown. I still have a Bonktown bumper sticker on my car.

I agree on best. The correct way to express it is "one of the better". There can only be one best. With regard to any superlative form of a noun.

"Favorites". Blame Microsoft for that one. No one that I know has only one link in their "favorites" folder.

I use Firefox, myself. Bookmarks. ;)

riding time. why does riding have to take so long? I do not feel satisfied riding for less than an hour, but I wish I could ride for less than an hour.

I guess it is pretty annoying when people take up the entire width of the cycling land. Especially if they are not cycling.
