I used the lines from the script right after the first verse verbatim. That would be plagiarizing the script writer, whoever that is.

Curious what the law is regarding paraphrasing an exact passage like that. I suppose if a song made money you would owe royalties. Or maybe you'd need permission to use it. I really don't think that's going to be an issue when I play that song at local open mics.

Weird thing happened to me today. At O'hare waiting to fly home. Went to a bar/restaurant to get lunch/dinner and an IPA. Woman next to me (attractive and younger than me) starts talking to me while a hockey game was on. As she gets up to leave, she gives me her number/card. That stuff didn't happen to me 20yrs ago (the last time I was single). I'm confused.
