Does the Pcad do love songs? I thought only misery and pain songs.

I worked for a spell in the college cafeteria as well, as a short order cook. I think I ate more food than I sold. One of the regular cooks once said to me "Boy, if your hand ain't going up to your mouth it's coming down". ::lol:

Good times.

We already abuse . . . pretty good at it too.

And throwing things can be arranged.

It was indeed. Only one minor mishap, but otherwise successful. My coworkers have all deemed me insane.

I'll write a happy song when the Mets win the World Series.

I am aware of my predilection for musical gloom. I came up with a new song idea this AM, I will try to make it a happier tune when I pen the lyrics.

Mid 20's is a nice temp for a morning commute. I prefer that to upper 30's since around here if the temp is 38-40 in the early morning it is raining.

RollCNY 02-14-13 09:52 AM

I have done many rides at this temp, so have good clothing for it. But all previous cold rides had been later in the morning, so I had daylight. The combination of darkness and ice detection was interesting. I need more reflective surfaces on the single speed if it is to be the primary commuter (the decommissioned flat bar was the commuter previously).

The overhead street lights startled me at first, as your shadow races ahead of you as you pass beneath. My first instinct was someone in a car was tailgating me.

I've started to drink the juice of a lemon everyday now. That shouls cure all sorts. Interestingly, my blood pressure has been down below 110 sys and 60ish. Recent changes in diet has been remembering to eat nuts everyday and lots of green leafy veg. But then again I had a fair bit of pork. I wonder what caused it.

I've got pedal squeak too. But more significantly, the rear brake pads and tyre are worn. No joke: I've had that tyre on the back over 6000 miles, and before that it was on the front ?? thousand more.
