Considering the weight of the PT hub, it'd be quite easy to do this build and end up with something at 1500g or less. Honestly, when I bought this wheelset, I was after the fact that it had a Powertap hub. I didn't know anything about the C2 rim, so that has been a super nice surprise. Bob |

I don't have a cross-section yet, but it sounds like they'll be nearly as aero as the Zipp 101s (angled brake track, even wider than the current Belgium) for a lot cheaper. Don't get me wrong, I love my current Belgiums, but I'm waiting for the + for my next wheelset. Every builder I've spoken to has nothing but huge praise for the consistency and quality of the current ones, so I'll accept the higher price. Fair enough about the DT Swiss vs WI - I haven't played with either. |

Well I'm a bit late to this thread I guess, but it was a very nice read for sure. You're very lucky to have had the chance to conduct such testing. I read the whole thread and may have missed it, but why did she offer you to test all those demo wheels? Does she do that regularly for customers?

I was looking for that perfect wheel. It took this amazing experience for me to realize that you cant have it all in one wheel. I wnted an aero advantage. Your options are very very minimal and very expensive to find an UBER light deep wheel without compromising stiffness and durability. So after realizing this I thought about which wheel set can I get that is uber light and stiff. There were several options. At none of them had the aero that I was looking for. There are brands out there that claim to be deep, durable and uber light. Couple Chinese carbon wheel manufacturers advertise this and there are tons of happy customers but there are also tons of reviews about unsatisfied customers. I'm not willing to take a risk and blow money on a set that I don't trust. |

Well there's no rider weight limit. Rolf users are always gushing about how durable the things are, and OP could drive about a 100 miles and check the HQ out in person where they hand-build everything.

I'm doing 10 speed for now. I haven't looked into 11 speed nor do I know anything it. But I'd be open minded. Have to get a new cassette but anything else?

You wheel may need to be re-dished if you convert to 11 speed later. |
No doubt the HED rims are very nice. Has anyone out there tried the new Pacenti SW23 rims? They sound like another interesting option.
