Checking out the Wilier Imperiale, not a bad looking frame.

Just an opinion, but make sure you see one in person before buying. Every Wilier I have seen is not as sexy up close as it is in online photo's. The Izoard XP has heart shaped tubes (not cute hearts, like blood pumping muscle shaped hearts) that just look goofy up close.

I guess I'd better pick up a steak on the way home from work... I wouldn't want to miss out on half of this day.

I got up early and took daughter #1 to Jazz Band practice...then hit the pool for a quick swim. Came home and did an 11 mile run, now off to work.

While on my run my office manager called me, all excited, that one of my patients bought me a bike. She seems very enthusiastic.

Me, not so much. I don't feel very comfortable accepting gifts from patients (well, I don't mind a batch of chocolate chip cookies, but you know what I mean), plus I don't really need or want another bike. I already have 4. With my crazy body geometry I generally need a custom frame anyway. We shall see, if it's a beach cruiser or MTB maybe I could use it, otherwise I may have to donate it to a worthy cause.

I will give details on bike gift in a bit.
