1). The crosscut girl is dumb so he'll date a Wilma. Good choice
2). Lester is gonna shack up. Oh there's where the drama will come from. A 40+ year old who buys a new old bike every day and lives in garrote on the motorway; who's favorite past times are overnight rides and trainspotting. That'll work

We went trainspotting together Sunday before last. I may have presented it as a "walk".

Last Saturday we went to several bike co-ops together. She witnessed my uncontrolled drooling and gushing over a red Basso Gap.

So far, so good. What could possibly go wrong?

RollCNY 03-14-13 09:47 AM

LC, get the Argon.

LAJ 03-14-13 09:50 AM

Very good.

datlas 03-14-13 09:52 AM

Holy crap. The guy bought me a new Specialized Roubaix with a full Ultegra group.

It's a really nice bike. 58cm. I don't suspect it will fit me great due to my crazy body but it's a REALLY nice bike.

Velo Vol 03-14-13 09:54 AM

What's the secret to trainspotting?

LAJ 03-14-13 09:56 AM

More importantly, what's the secret to getting a gift like that from a client?

truckstop 03-14-13 09:59 AM

RUOkie 03-14-13 10:03 AM

Crap datlas. I'd send it back. Seriously.

who bought you a bike? that's a hell of a gift from someone who isn't trying to get you into bed...or is he?

coasting 03-14-13 10:24 AM

who feels uncomfortable receiving a gift from a happy patient or client or anybody.

None of mine either, Billy. Obviously a biased test.

BillyD 03-14-13 10:41 AM

@ VVol

What's the name of this new style of basketball jersey with the crazy busy color patterns? Cincinnati has them on right now on ESPN.

It's hideous.

He's a pretty sick guy and I am trying my hardest to keep him out of the hospital. I have helped him a lot and also his kid. But I feel uncomfortable with a gift like this.

If he refuses to take it back, auction or raffle it off. Donate the proceeds to charity. Even better if there is a charity for whatever ails him.

LesterOfPuppets 03-14-13 11:00 AM

+1 on the charity auction idea!
