Why would they be selling it?

Have they changed brands?

And I've asked this before, but who gets the money?

-To get their money back

-Yes....Lotto-Domo is now Davitamon-Lotto. Merckx's flogged off, new Ridleys ordered.

-Depends....if Robbie was given the bike by the team or bought it (for a nominal sum) to train on back in Oz, then he gets the money. If it's still a team asset, the funds go back to the them. Every big team has a service course somewhere in Europe you can buy end-of-year kit from.

I had one!! I sold it when I had to get a real job and a life etc etc. White with D-A 9-speed, and awesome 28 spoke Mavic Paris-Roubaix SSC tubulars for racing.

Great bike....I'd love to get the Molteni orange one that's around now.

exactly. theywant near-new prcing for it, regardless of how few km's they claim it's done.

Do you reckon whoever buys it will be like George Costanza when he thinks he's bought Jon Voigt's Le Baron??

531Aussie 02-01-05 08:46 PM

JERRY: I thought Consumer said Volvo was the car.

GEORGE: What Consumer? I'm the consumer.

JERRY: Alright. Seems like...a strange choice.

GEORGE: Well, maybe so...but it was good enough for Mr. Jon Voight.

Ah well. At least you're riding. Good work. :D

What's the laws down in Victoria anyway? No 150 hp/tonne rule? Do they have something like REVS so you can get onto bigger bikes quicker if you've had your car licence long enough?

Free shipping makes it a bargain. What I don't understand I why a high end bike like that would need training wheels. Isn't that a bit much for a beginner? :D
